‘Kingdom Hearts IV’ seems to be on hold, so why not see Jesse McCartney sing pop songs instead

He plays Ybor City this weekend.

There aren’t any updates on “Kingdom Hearts IV” (a video game franchise in which the 37-year-old has long voiced Roxas), so Jesse McCartney has plenty of time on his hands to hit the studio.

Mr. “Leavin’” has a new EP out, on which he rhymes “faux fur” with “chauffeur,” and managed to get Yung Gravy to pop up on “Make A Baby.”

The last time he appeared in the Bay area was at St. Pete’s Jannus Live two years ago, so prepare to enjoy the air conditioning after a day that calls for a high of 90 degrees.

Tickets to see Jesse McCartney play The Ritz in Ybor City on Friday, April 19 are still available and start at $25.50.
