Techno DJ Marbs—who usually spends his time at Burning Man or the Desert Heart “boutique festivals”—is playing a more intimate venue this weekend when he arrives at The Attic listening room above Rock Brothers Brewing Co..

The Southern California DJ claims Pink Floyd and Tool as heavy influences, which you can hear in the dark and spacey single “Helix.”

The Fader Events produced show has the Ybor City venue at a lowered-capacity with a mask requirement and a temperature check at the door.

Marbs w/S.I.D. (Sounds In Dharma)/Dennis Morales. Friday, April 9, 10 p.m. $20-$35. The Attic at Rock Brothers Brewing, Ybor City. theatticyborcity.com
