Mexican psych-rock band Santoros arrives at Tampa’s Microgroove

They’ve got Scott Yoder with ‘em, too.

These fucking Mexicans (from California) with their badass brand of garage-ready, psychedelic surf-rock. Why do they have to come to Tampa to rock the record store so hard? Lastly, why does it only cost $7 to go to a great Thursday-night show happening in the backyard of every Seminole Heights resident who believes they’re cooler than their friends who opted for a life in the ‘burbs?

Santoros w/Scott Yoder/Blestian. Thurs. Sept. 6, 7 p.m. $7-$10. Microgroove, 4906 N. Florida Ave., Tampa.
