Like the actual vinyl album since it’s not on streaming services yet.

Whether it was his intention or not, St. Louis-based pop-punk artist Wes Hoffman has an interesting tactic leading his fans to support physical media: Releasing his new album How It Should Be—due out on streaming sometime this year—exclusively on vinyl first.

And you have the option to order one on blue and white marble vinyl, as well as standard black. Whatever you choose, you’ll be able to stick it to Spotify by grabbing a copy at Ybor Heights' Deviant Libation the last venue on Hoffman’s brief Florida tour.

Tickets to see Wes Hoffman play Deviant Libation in Tampa on Sunday, Jan. 14 are available for $8. Subscribe to Creative Loafing newsletters.
