On Tuesday, March 17, Seminole Heights record store Microgroove updated the public on its policies during the recent public health scares due to the national coronavirus pandemic via Facebook. Hand sanitizer will be at the desk (please use as you enter the store,) and you customers request paper towels to use while. they sift through the bins. Oh, and please don’t shop at Microgroove (or literally anywhere) if you’re showing symptoms of coronavirus—duh.

Microgroove will also take phone orders and provide curbside pickup, and is exploring the idea of local delivery to the greater Seminole Heights area.

It’s no secret that locally-owned and operated businesses are taking a hit from coronavirus closures and curfews. Here’s what other Tampa Bay record stores are doing in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Stock up on some quarantine vinyl, and spend that money you were saving for the now postponed Record Store Day 2020.
