Tommy Prine learned music from his dad, John, who happens to be one of the greatest musicians to have ever lived. John, who kept a home in Gulfport, died in April of 2020, so it’s Tommy’s turn.

Though Tommy, Prine's youngest son, has been playing the guitar since he was 10, the singer-songwriter’s debut album, produced in part by Ruston Kelly, is coming out any day now. Tommy plays songs about “growing up, falling in love, and losing his father” at a sold-out show inside the still-open Hideaway Cafe.
Here’s to hoping he plays St. Petersburg a song or two from pops’ catalog and to your luck getting a ticket since the show is sold-out.
