Trans-Siberian Orchestra plays Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida on December 16, 2017.
Symphonic metal royalty Trans-Siberian Orchestra is emerging from the shadows, and has announced the return of its Ghosts of Christmas Eve tour, which is headed to Tampa just in time for the holiday.
Tickets to Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s back-to-back shows at Tampa’s Amalie Arena on Sunday, Dec. 18 (2 p.m. and 7 p.m.) go on sale Friday, Sept. 16 at 10 a.m., and start at $29.
We’re still marveling at the fact that it’s been five years since founder
Paul O’Neill died in a Tampa hotel room. And while it’s not looking like the group is calling it a day in his honor, there hasn’t been any new music released since 2015, so it’s anyone’s call if TSO is taking the legacy band route.
Also, don’t freak out if you find out that TSO is playing a different city on Dec. 18. Years ago, in the wake of overwhelming demand, O’Neill put two touring bands together, each assigned a designated coast of the country.
