Yesterday was the one year anniversary of the $787 billion stimulus plan.  Lots of criticism, but frankly, a lot of that we find to be misguided;

Kevin White is running for re-election in Hillsborough County.  Last night the "embattled" one held a big fund-raiser in Ybor City;

And there is more about the Tampa Bay Rays and Hillsborough County.  Both daily newspapers are reporting on former Tampa Mayor Dick Greco being involved with a group trying to procure land for a stadium of some sort near the Florida State Fairgrounds.  The County Commission discussed Ken Hagan's invitation for the ABC Coa

And though we're staying away from reports about Dick Greco being involved with a group trying to find land for a stadium on the Florida State fairgrounds, we did watch yesterday's Board of County Commissioner meeting about a request to bring the group trying to find a new stadium for the Tampa Bay Rays up to Tampa for a discussion.
