Thanks to ridesharing, there are pretty much no excuses to drive impaired. Still, some of you will inevitably be tempted to do so over the Fourth of July weekend.
Here’s your semi-regular reminder not to, plus a good reason why.
In their continuing mission to keep drunk drivers off the road after holiday festivities, AAA and Budweiser are collaborating for their regular “Tow to Go” program where drivers — whether they’re AAA members or not — can get a free, confidential, tow and ride back home.
According to a press release, the service will be available starting Wednesday, July 3 until 6 a.m. on Friday, July 5. The only restrictions are a 10-mile radius from pickup to drop-off and possible limited availability based on call volume. The program may also be unavailable in rural areas or during times when there are weather conditions.
Here’s the number to save into your phone: (855) 2-TOW-2-GO or (855) 286-9246.
