Two local rescue pit bulls, named Maggie and Ollie, have moved in with "The Animal."

Dave Bautista, a Tampa native, former WWE wrestler and "Guardian of the Galaxy" member, recently linked up with the pair after a group of volunteers had adopted the dogs from Hillsborough County Animal Services.

According to a post from the volunteer-run Rescue Me Tampa Shelter Dogs Facebook page, the pits were surrendered to the Pet Resource Center after their original owner had a baby. The pair had become best buds over the years, but unfortunately they were separated at the shelter, and later reunited thanks to the group.

The dogs then hit the “Doggie Lottery” and are now living in a “huge, gated property,” with “Tempurpedic dog beds” and  “doggy doors everywhere.”

In a statement in the post, Dave reportedly said, “They had a bad first 6 years. I’m going to make sure the rest of their lives makes up for that.”

This is great, because like his character Drax the Destroyer, we're willing to bet these dog will also leave "famously huge turds."
