Tropical Storm Idalia is forecast to become a Category 3 Hurricane and make landfall north of the Tampa Bay area—with the entire Bay area under a hurricane warning.

Most of the west coast of Florida is under some kind of storm surge warning, according to the National Weather Service, which added that the Bay area has potential to see storm surge flooding greater than six feet.

Sandbags and shelters are also available at multiple locations across the Bay area. See a listing of them below.
