In a recent wide-ranging interview with Barron's (paywall, sorry) about upcoming Disney projects and properties, CEO Bob Iger let slip a vague timeline for the opening of the highly anticipated "Star Wars Land" addition to Disney World.

According to a report by Spectrum News 13, a conversation about park attendance included the news that Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will open at Anaheim, CA's Disneyland in June of this year — and then Iger mentioned in passing that the Orlando analogue is scheduled to be unveiled in "late fall" 2019.

Star Wars fans have been foaming at the mouth over the planned new section since it was announced last summer; additional details about rides and attractions were released in November. That's a seriously tight timeline for a major addition to any theme park, but if any corporate entertainment behemoth can pull it off, it's the House of Mouse.
