Crist leads as an indie in new poll, Tea Partiers go wild, and PBS News Hour focuses on Tampa

There's lots of buzz this morning about the new Quinnipiac poll that shows Charlie Crist beating Kendrick Meek and Marco Rubio if the governor leaves the GOP by the end of April;

It's April 15, Tax Day, and also a day for protests by Tea Party groups across the country, and in the Tampa Bay area.  A NY Times/ CBS News poll digs deep into what these folks believe in;

And the PBS Newshour has been in Tampa all week, and last night featured an 11 minute report on federal spending in the Cigar City.  We've got the video lined up for you to watch if you missed it.

MPR will be off for a few days as report from suburban Palm Springs and the Coachella Music Festival. Be back here on Tuesday.
