Am I the only one who cringes every time I see a Jim Davis Campaign news release that pointedly leads with a reference to "Colonel Jones" as his lieutenant govenor running mate? I know the Democrats feel they have to overcome an anti-defense perception among voters, but this is getting a bit ridiculous.
