In my earlier years, they've been horrible, mindless creatures that I desperately ran from — not in fear of death, but in fear of being turned into a vampire. However the older I got, the calmer the dreams became. They turned even pleasant. Now they are sensual, beautiful dreams! I'm charmed by incredibly attractive male vampires, and if in the beginning of the dream I am reluctant to fall into the temptation, in the end I always find myself in bed with the once horrible creatures and am head over heals in love with them. Please help! I've been trying to get this figured out for years, and I just don't get it. What does this mean?” (sic)
It means you’ve adapted and internalized the monsters in your young world and lost your childhood instincts that acted as a warning device when danger loomed. Dream Momma understands that you had no choice. You were dependent and had to survive. Now they are inside of your psyche, a part of who you are. Your shadow.
