The massive snow tubing park and alpine village will include a 60-foot-tall, 400-foot-long outdoor snow tubing hill, with a magic carpet lift that will transport riders and their snow tubes to the top of the hill.
The park’s tubes can fit up to six people, but they will also provide individual tubes for those wanting to go it alone. There’s also a snow dome where they store real snow for visitors to build snowmen, have snowball fights, or whatever else you kids want to do.
Speaking of the kiddos, there will be a mini-version of the snow tubing hill in the snow dome for the little ones, in case they don’t feel comfortable riding the giant one outside.
At night, visitors can expect some sort of light show on the snow hill and snow dome, which is described on their website as a light show “unlike you’ve seen anywhere else in Florida.”
Snowcat Ridge is expected to open November 2020, and will operate on a weather-dependent schedule.
