Former Tampa Trib City Hall reporter gets gig at Newsday

Over the past few years, Christian Wade broke news and consistently did a solid job reporting on Tampa City Hall for the Tampa Tribune. His reward for that in December was to get shipped out to a reporting gig in Carrollwood.

But he's getting the last word, landing in New York City to work for Newsday. His last day at the Tribune was last Wednesday.

Before coming to the Tribune in 2005, Wade had reported in China and the West Indies for United Press International and the Associated Press.
