Jobsite Theater's brain trust of comedy has churned out yet another original production, Grimm's Faery Tales, along the lines of its wildly popular (Abridged) productions. This time around, audiences are in for a riotous romp through the world of the Brothers Grimm as the cast enacts a collection of the classic fairy tales with their own modern, twisted spin on the once-beloved and magical characters of our childhood. Thus, the cutesy, watered-down versions of the Disney sort are discarded, and the gorier, goofier aspects of the original Grimm fairy tales are brought to light sketch-comedy style. Prepare to be shocked, appalled and entertained by this hilariously outlandish performance of a completely original play by the Jobsite crew, the final show of the 2005-06 line-up; Katrina Stevenson and Kari Goetz direct.
