Herman Cain coming to Tampa (again) in September as part of his "Truth Tour 2012"

Those events will be:

*Morning Event for Faith-Based and/or Community Leaders — Reaching out to the Faith-Based and minority community to give these thousands of Hermans and Bernies in America’s urban centers and inner cities tools to revive the American Dream and re-establish the American environment that allowed Cain and Marcus to pursue their dreams.

*Lunch Event for Job Creators and Business Leaders - Equipping business leaders with talking points, media training, educational materials for their employees, and peer support will empower employers to protect their economic rights and the opportunities to grow their businesses and provide added jobs.

*Evening College & Community Event — Among adults of all ages, 82 percent say it’s harder for today’s young adults to find a job than for previous generations. The number of unemployed Americans aged 20-24 has risen from 1.85 million to 2.19 million in the past three years. This vital part of the Truth Tour will address this very important group of Americans. Rather than a lecture, this will be a fun, educational event with Herman Cain and a popular local band.

“I know I will be absolutely worn out at the end of this tour,” Cain remarked in a press release. “But I will not rest until I feel I’ve done my best to get the right information to as many Americans as possible. We are at too critical a juncture in our nation’s history to simply sit back and do nothing. This may be our best and only shot to steer our country in the right direction.”

Among the special guests who may be appearing with Cain include Fox News commentator Dick Morris, once derided by a Huffington Post blogger as America's worst political pundit. Among his bon mots going back to 2008 were his predictions that Obama's confrontation with Joe the Plumber was quite possibly "the decisive moment in the election, " or his comment just a week before the general election that" likely a disproportionate number of the undecideds will vote for McCain."

CL has already reported on the Unity Tour coming to a church in Eastern Tampa the night before the Republican National Convention begins on Sunday, August 26, featuring appearances by Herman Cain and Michelle Bachmann

Now we can tell you that the man sometimes known as "the Herminator" will be making a return visit to the Cigar City just weeks later, all part of his 30 city, 13-state Truth Tour 2012.

The Tampa gig is set for September 19, at a place to be announced.

That's probably a smart strategy, since the Cain folks previously posted information that the Unity event was going to be taking place at Raymond James Stadium, only to have it scaled back to the River Church, a dramatically smaller venue.

And with the passing several years ago of James Brown, Cain may be trying to take over his mantle as America's hardest working man in show business. That's because he's going to breakfast, lunch and evening events in each of the 30 locations he visits.
