Some folks without health insurance can get away without seeing the doctor until they become too sick or injured (though that's not advisable). But not too many of us can go long without seeing a dentist — or would want to, considering the problems that can arise when too much time passes, even if you can afford to make a visit.
Okay, maybe it's only me who used to get lectured when I didn't see the dentist for a year or so. In any event, every year a few dentists and doctors offer free services to the community. This Friday, Feb. 8, that gracious person is Dr. Vincent J. Monticciolo. Dr. Monticciolo and his team at Monticciolo Family and Sedation Dentistry will be offering the residents of Hillsborough County and surrounding areas free dental care services.
