Inspired by New York’s Garment and Meat Packing Districts, the event focuses on the industrial aesthetic of the fashion.
Garment District 813 features Ben Chmura’s first Resort Collection: Lamia’s Wrath, and it's Ben's first show since his participation on Project Runway Season 7 and recent showing at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in February 2010. Ben also won Best Local Clothing Designer in Creative Loafing’s 2007 Best of the Bay Readers’ Poll and has joined us for our Project Runway Podcast throughout the season. Designer Raven Reda will also be showing her new collection: Coup D’etat
