Small-Publishing Workshop
On Saturday, May 26, 4-8 p.m., the Center of Radical Empowerment offers a workshop on launching, creating, promoting and distributing an independent 'zine or comic. The workshop is facilitated by Bradenton's Sinkhole 'zine creator Mark Generous, guerrilla comic artist Josh Sullivan, small publishing distributor Josh Rumschlag and 'zine-maker Anthony Ateek. Open House

World Heritage seeks families, couples or single parents who are interested in hosting a high school-age foreign exchange student. The West Central Area Agency on Aging needs volunteers to respond to caller inquiries regarding information and referral of aging-related programs and services in the area.
