First Fridays in St. Petersburg are generally drenched in booze as what feels like all of downtown converges on city streets — but not tonight.

A press release says that the August 2 edition of the party (where net proceeds benefit charitable efforts, with a focus on youth education and children’s health) has been canceled due to a 70%-80% chance of thunderstorms.
