The City of Tampa Department of Parks and Recreations is partnering with the Rays Baseball Foundation to offer free swimming lessons to children this summer.

The program, Swim with the Rays, will be offered at 12 Tampa city pools from June 3 to August 31.

This initiative will emphasize the importance of water safety in the community, as it teaches basic safety precautions for being in, on, and around water to all eligible participants.
