Princeton University's Triangle Club is a 117-year-old theatrical tradition. The inspired young writers, performers and producers of the collegiate musical-comedy troupe create an original production annually. A select group of students take the show on the road and entertain audiences across the nation; this year's show, A Turnpike Runs Through It, is presented in St. Petersburg on Sunday. A send-up of all things New Jersey, Turnpike focuses on the history and culture of the state via a mock bus tour led by a couple of enthusiastic tour guides. Expect singing mobsters, dancing cranberries, an all-male kickline and plenty of other spoofable Garden State stuff. Sun., Jan. 27, 7 p.m., Janet Root Theatre, Shorecrest Preparatory School, 5101 First St. N., St. Petersburg, $30 general/$15 students and children, 727-490-7367.
