A Tampa Bay home perfect for anyone that doesn’t mind swinging a fishing pole and a hammer, is now for sale in Seminole.

Located at 7000 131st St., the home was built in 1966, and sits at the end of its own  1.81-acre peninsula overlooking Boca Ciega Bay.

According to the listing, the home is in need of some serious repair, but it does come with some interesting features, to say the least.

The two-story, 3,690-square-foot home boasts five bedrooms and six bathrooms, as well as a pool, two fireplaces, an indoor koi pond, a dock, over 800-feet of seawall, and a spiral staircase that wraps around a bird-cage elevator.

An elevator that a six-year-old boy got his stuck in and ended up dangling five feet off the ground, according to a 2001 story in the St. Petersburg Times.

“Firefighters and paramedics had to use several wedges and prying tools to move the elevator enough to free the boy,” said the report. “He was taken to Bayfront Medical Center as a precaution but his injuries were not believed to be serious.”

Property records show that the home last sold in 2000 for $855,000. The current asking price is $4,375,000, and the listing agent is  Don Taylor of Smith & Associates.
