Ybor City is one of the first places I'm heading to once everyone who wants a vaccine is fully inoculated, and for now the historic district is also a place to get a shot of coronavirus vaccine in your arm.
Creative Loafing Tampa Bay's resident witch—aka Caroline DeBruhl, the Ybor Oracle—said that a vaccination site has popped up on Seventh Avenue, at 16th Street (aka right there near the 7-Eleven).
DeBruhl said the site has doses of the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine available to anyone at least 18 years old and in possession of an ID that verifies their age. The site is operating from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. daily for the next 10 days. Just 250 doses will be distributed daily on a first-come, first-served basis at the pop-up site.
And if you can't get to that site, vaccines are available at the Children's Board, located at 1002 E Palm Ave. on a first-come, first-served basis. A board operator at the nonprofit did not know how many doses were available at the Children's Board, but added that "they don't normally run out." The Children's Board is open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; its phone no. is 813-229-2884.
