24 things to see along Florida Stories’ new walking tour of Safety Harbor

The Florida Humanities Council has pulled together walking tours of over a dozen Florida cities, and if you haven’t tried one, you’re missing out. First of all, these self-guided walking tours are totally free. Second of all, the scripts are written by locals, so you’re getting an insider’s guide. All you have to do in download the free Florida Stories app to your cell phone (via the App Store or Google play), and then download whichever tours you’re interested in. Just in the Tampa Bay area, the app offers free tours of St. Pete, Tarpon Springs, and most recently, Safety Harbor. Check it out. The Safety Harbor script was written by Laura Kepner & Warren Firschein, co-authors of A Brief History of Safety Harbor.
