A new watering hole inside Hyde Park Village's shiniest new boutique hotel is now open in South Tampa.
The 36-room Palihouse Hyde Park Village, debuted last November at 1509 W Swann Ave., and now its appropriately named Lobby Bar is ready to serve up cocktails and bites to the public.
Classic, hand-crafted cocktails, which run $17 a piece, are the main event here. A few highlights form the drink menu include, espresso martinis made with cold brew liqueur and orgeat almond syrup, and the "Nap in the Afternoon," featuring tequila blanco, St. Germain, benedictine, orange bitters, and bubbles.
Besides cocktails, beer and wine, the new European-style bar offers a wide menu with all-day dining options, including breakfast, lunch and dessert items that span everything from lobster tacos to burgers, and cheese plates to tuna tartare.
There's also a happy hour every day from 3 p.m.-6 p.m., as well as daily specials, like the Society Brunch Club, which happens every Saturday and Sunday and includes an entrée, a brunch cocktail and a coffee and pastry for $35.
