Shelton Quarles, one of the few Tampa Bay Buccaneers who contributed to both of the organization's Super Bowl runs, is putting his Tampa home on the market.
Located within the gated Avila community in northern Tampa, the home was built in 2000 and purchased by Quarles and his wife Damaris for $1,325,000 in 2006, according to property records.
The 6,118-square-foot home comes with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, as well as five car garage, a large owner's suite, a rec room and theater, as well as a pool and spa, says the listing.
Quarles played linebacker for the Bucs from 1997-2006, where he earned a Pro Bowl spot during the team's first Super Bowl Championship year in 2002. In 1999, he logged a team record of 31 special teams tackles in one season, and he currently is tied for the longest play in team history, after he intercepted the Packers' Brett Favre for a 98-yard pick-6 in 2001.
After retiring in 2006, Quarles moved to the front office, and currently serves the Bucs as the Director of Team Operations.
The Quarles house is currently asking $1,995,000, and the listing agent is Michelle Fitz-Randolph of Coldwell Banker Realty
