Self-described surf-psychedelic-experimental band Liquid Pennies had a busy 2021. Frontman Chas Binns recovered from a skating accident, and went on to help promote his band’s latest EP, Distant Dawn. This year, Binns is back on his feet, and there’s no better way to kick 2022 off than with a show at The Hub—where celebrity chef Alton Brown stopped last week.
Joining this intimate Saturday set will be garage rock bands The Drain Outs, Witch Hiatus, and Dream Thing. There’s no cover, but you do have to be 21 or older to gain access.
Beyond the group’s show—and benefit performances last month—Liquid Pennies is putting the final touches on a new EP and album, both set to release this year. The new material will feature the group’s new kid on drums, Christian Kovar.
