The last year taught us a lot about ourselves and the way we treat each other, but a look at Creative Loafing Tampa’s most popular News+Views posts from 2018 says one thing loud and clear: Our readers (and by default, our editorial staff) are a weird bunch.

Sure, some of the greatest hits predictably revolved around politics and local issues (hi, Roxanne Fixsen, Andy Gillum and U.S. sugar), but our readers were really into sex (Trump’s “yeti pubes,” Tampa’s ranking when it comes to sinful cities), watching people poop (hello hidden camera at a beloved St. Petersburg taqueria) and drunk history (sorry, Princess Ulele).

Oh, and the number one thing you cared about? That thing we’re not calling Guavaween anymore.
