At 77 years old, Boz Scaggs has seen enough tragedy in his life to have called it a day a long time ago, but he’s not doing that and heading to Clearwater this weekend for a show at the Capitol Theatre on Sunday.
Itโs easy to forget that he basically co-founded The Steve Miller Band back in the โ60s, and though he didnโt stick around for long, we can only wonder what the band mightโve sounded like had he stuck around.
In the last decade, Scaggs released a trilogy of albums consisting of American roots musicโmuch like Bob Dylan and his Great American Songbook trilogy.
Fans love it, too, as this gig is already sold-out.
