On select dates through October, patrons will set sail from the Pirate Water Taxi dock at 333 S Franklin St. for an eerie 45-minute tour down the Hillsborough River at 7, 8 or 9 p.m.
Led by spirited storytellers, the tour takes you through Tampa’s most bone-chilling legends and mysteries—it might be best to bring the little ones earlier in the evening.
Tickets can be purchased ahead of time online and start at $20 for ages 2-12 and go for $30 for adults. Those who are Pirate Water Taxi annual pass holders are eligible to save $5 for up to six tickets for the Friday and Sunday tours.
After a pause due to the pandemic, the haunted river tours made its comeback last October.
