This was not a great challenge for Project Runway, I am not even going to sugarcoat it for you, it sucked. The elements challenge tested the strong ones and some of them failed, spectacularly.

The designers were assigned one of the four elements to inspire them, without a whole lot of other direction, which is like the worst possible thing to do to them because they FREAK OUT with no one telling them what to do. And they all officially freaked out, the workroom went from a chaotic mess of hammering last week to a silent tomb-like room, which makes sense as they all seemed like they were waiting for their own funerals. Oh and somehow, they threw in hair being a big deal and Garnier got more shout-outs than God at the Grammys, making me really really want to go buy some hairspray (anyone else feeling compelled?).
