Tall Heights Cello meets the guitar when Tim Harrington and Paul Wright take to the brand new Safety Harbor Art & Music Center for a show in support of their new LP, Neptune, which has been on shelves and in digital coffers since August. The boys — who perform as Tall Heights — are new to the major label game, but they've been at it since 2010, so expect a tight show. (Safety Harbor Art & Music Center, Safety Harbor) INFO
42nd Street Big Band In a week where holiday concerts rule the calendar, this one is a little different (and more low key) and taps Bob Boyd’s 42nd Street Big Band to lead attendees through swinging renditions of classics from the 1940s. (Largo Community Center, Largo) INFO
Vesperteen He can normally be found behind the drum kit for Columbus, Ohio pop-rockers House of Heroes, but Colin Rigsby steps to the front of the stage for his other project, Vesperteen. A Peter White Christmas w/Rick Braun/Euge Groove In the smooth jazz world, the holidays are the perfect time to break out soprano saxophones and belt out “Silent Night.” Not for Peter White, though. The 62-year-old Englishman deploys the nylon string guitar for his performance and he’s bringing along frequent collaborator Rick Braun who’ll handle trumpet for this holiday concert. Fans of the sax need not worry, however, since White has invited Steven Eugene Grove to blow his on stage. Grove has played in bands with Tina Turner, Luther Vandross and Joe Cocker, so expect some “Euge Grooves” at this one. (Capitol Theatre, Clearwater) INFO
