Dave Mason Dave Mason is rounding out an already star studded week for Capitol Theater. Mason’s music career began in the late 60s, when he formed the band Traffic with Steve Winwood. Apart from his commercial musical endeavors, Mason has rubbed elbows with some of rock and roll’s royal family. From recording “All Along the Watchtower” with Jimi Hendrix to touring with Eric Clapton and George Harrison, he is highly respected among the music community and even earned a spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. While he’s known for playing an assortment of instruments, fans at Capitol Theater will most likely see him singing behind his guitar, the instrument that brought him to fame.
