You know Uncle Kracker from his easy-going country-stained Top 40 AC rock singles “Follow Me” and “Smile” (off 2009’s Happy Hour, that song that played in all those baby promos for The Office), and his cover of “Drift Away" (aka "Give Me The Beat, Boys”). Ah, it's that time of year again: Florida's two whole weeks of spring are in full swing, providing a brief respite before another blazing summer. And you know what spring means: another scad of students are almost free from school for three whole months, but before they go, they're giving us the Juried Student Exhibit, a semester's worth of work and a multimedia feast for the eyes — including paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, ceramics, sculpture, digital media, animation and mixed media. UT's esteemed fine arts faculty juries this year's student showcase, and the Dali Museum's Las Damas de Arte program furnishes $3,500 in prize money for top artists. On display through April 28.
