Next Saturday, the Tampa Riverwalk will turn two miles of the waterfront into a giant trick-or-treat trail with more than 50 stations where kids can get treats from local businesses and groups.

The Tampa Riverwalk trick-or-treat trail runs from Water Works Park (1701 N Highland Ave.) to MacDill Park (100 N Ashley Dr.), including Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in between. A limited number of bags are available at those parks.

The event runs from 4 p.m.- 7p.m. and concludes with a lighted boat parade along the Hillsborough River, and a costume contest for kids 0-12 starts at 5:15 p.m.

The Riverwalk Trick or Treat event page says treats will be limited to “One item per child in costume, per location, while supplies last,” but I doubt anyone has the heart to deny a kid without a costume a treat.
