Cloud Watching & Rock Painting

July 9, 9 a.m. and noon, respectively. Boyd Hill Nature Preserve, 1101 Country Club Way S., St. Pete. $3 and $5, respectively. 727-893-7326. Both events on Facebook (click here for cloud watching and here for rock painting).

Regardless, the event promises to be an easy, fun way to bring back the pet rock. You know you want one.
