See the winners of FMoPA's International Photography Competition in Tampa

The eighth annual competition's reception opens Friday night.

Remember we used this really cool photo of this year's Best in Show winner at the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts' International Photography Competition on our cover? Of course you do. Here's your chance to see it IRL, because Tampa's FMoPA is hosting a formal opening reception from for its 8th annual International Photography Competition this Friday night.

Winners include photographers from not only the U.S., but Austria, Belgium, Israel, and New Zealand too. The exhibit showcasing the winners has been ongoing for most of June already, and will continue until July 23, so should disaster strike on Friday you’ll still have an opportunity to see the winners in their full glory.

First through third place winners' work will be showcased. The competition had seven categories: Abstract; People & Portraits; Places, Landscape & Drone;  Nature, Science & Animals; Still Life; Conceptual; and the People’s Choice winner.
