In spite of a few closures, Tampa Bay has been pretty good about supporting local businesses. Far Forest Exchange—located on 6611 N. Nebraska Avenue—wants to make sure that this year’s Small Business Saturday has a massive turnout. Because in a perfect world, this year especially would draw in (masked up) crowds worldwide.

The Shop Hop Market, taking place Saturday, Nov. 28 right outside the store, promises to provide killer Christmas shopping, or just more moments to treat yo’self. Danielle from Rewild Blossoms will be there, selling her wreaths and bouquets, while pastry chef Chriss Holliday will showcase and sell her sugary “zerts” at Holliday Bakes. Also present will be popups Soul Rebel Exchange and Gioi’s Typos, as well as abstract work from local artist Ashley Cantero.

There’ll be live music, too. A locally-conceived supergroup of sorts, if you will. All three members of ‘80s-inspired Future Vintage will be performing alongside Anthill Cinema bassist Vinny Svoboda and Leisure Chief guitarist Jordan Garno.

Anna and Kelly Ann at The Far Forest plan to take safety precautions very seriously. Not that it’s a surprise, but masks will be required except when eating and drinking, and if you forget yours, free ones will be provided. Social distancing will be enforced, and eating and drinking will only be allowed outside.
