Just as COVID-19 mask mandates were first lifted, Chris and Ryan Zubrickโ€”originally brought together by accidentally having respective magic shows booked at the exact same time and placeโ€”constructed a 93-seat venue in St. Peteโ€™s Edge District, with the intention of showcasing 70 minutes worth of joint trickery.

Ever since opening up shop two months later, the married couple has appeared onstage almost every Thursday through Saturday night, as well as every other Sunday afternoonโ€”wowing even the most cynical of adults and kids alike.

This weekend marks the second anniversary of the showโ€™s initial debut, so donโ€™t be too surprised if cake is involved on 1st Street that night.

There are still tickets, starting at $42, to the Zubrick Magic Theatre two-year anniversary weekend happening Thursday-Sunday, July 27-30.
