Start booking those photoshoots, girlies, because Sunflower season is here.

Hernando Countyโ€™s Sweetfield Farms officially started its season on May 2, with flowery farm activities running through May 25.

There are lots of ways to celebrate Mom this weekend, like grabbing fresh veggies and a bottle of wine for dinner after strolling through the sunflower maze and doing crafts.

Kids also have plenty to do, including a hayride, tree house play area, tumbleweed rollers, jumbo foosball, pitcher pump duck races, plant-a-sunflower and animal visits.

Picnic lunches are welcome, and food and drink vendors will be on site.

Tickets are $14 for Sunflower Season Fun at Sweetfield Farms, running Friday, May 8, weekends and Monday, May 25 in Brooksville.
