As we chill the champagne and ready the fireworks for another end of year celebration, I can't help but look back on the year that was. 2010 was rough for moviegoers, with a whole lot of movies that were less than memorable (at best). While I make no claim that my list is definitive (I haven't seen everything released this year), the movies contained within are the ones that stuck with me. As such, movies like Black Swan and The Fighter both of which made Roger Ebert's and the American Film Institute's rankings are absent here because I have yet to see them and figure out if they would fit. So with that in mind, here's my top 10 of 2010:
Honorable Mention goes to Piranha 3-D for its creative use of 3-D, and its ridiculous, over the top shenanigans most notably that scene involving Ving Rhames and an outboard motor.
