This former Midtown smokery is currently on hiatus while looking for a new location, which sucks, because stopping by its old digs for an hour on a weekday for some ’cue and a couple of beers was like a mini-vacation. The friendly service, the laid-back neighborhood vibe, the food so good it qualified as a special reward for busting one’s ass all morning — it all came together to create a uniquely stress-relieving experience.
