Live-Work is an exploration of built environments in transition and how we move through them. It takes its name from the language of mixed-use development, asking us to consider the connection between labor, recreation, daily life and cultural perceptions of place. Three artists—matthew anthony batty, Dakota Parkinson and Andrés Ramirez—speak to the transformative processes involved in placemaking through media such as installation, ceramic sculpture and photography. The exhibition closes with a reception Wednesday, June 26th, 5 – 8 p.m., with a panel discussion scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
