Portillo’s wants to know if your kids are interested in their Chi-style shablams.

Starting yesterday, May 19, the Chicago-based hot dog chain began testing new glizzy-focused hot dog meals “designed specifically for younger guests,” according to a press release.

“The meal includes a choice of a plain hot dog or two chicken tenders, paired with kid-sized fries or fresh apple slices, plus a kidโ€™s drink (milk, chocolate milk or apple juice box) and a fun sticker prize,” says the press release. “For just $1 more, kids can add a slice of Portilloโ€™s famous chocolate cake or receive a coupon to return for the cake later.”

The new shaboing-boing meals are $7.99 and are currently available for dine-in or takeout at all Tampa Bay locations, including the Tampa outpost at 2102 E Fowler Ave., and the St. Pete spot at 2302 Tyrone Blvd.

If corporate long bois aren’t your thing, locally-owned Mel’s, at 4136 E Busch Blvd, has had a $7 kid’s Snack Dog meal for years, and it comes with a dog on a poppy seed bun, fries, and a drink and gummy dog!
