Oh baby, there’s a great show happening on every night of Music Week, and this one is going to completely derail the rest of our workweek. The Coathangers were already good for one hell of a party every time the trio hit the stage, but a new album, The Devil You Know, adds a little political commentary to the Atlanta outfit’s already potent brand of edgy underground punk.
One of Tampa’s best bands, Glove, returns from a tour for this one where Miami’s Las Nubes plays support (and drags Glove down to the Magic City and Orlando for two more dates in support of the Coathangers).
The Coathangers w/Glove/Las Nubes. Mon. Sept. 16, 7 p.m. $15. Crowbar, Ybor City. crowbarybor.com.
