Family and Friends music is what a life well lived sounds like. At times, it's upbeat. In other moments, it's a slower tune. Throughout each song, the Athens, Georgia's principal songwriter Mike MacDonald wears his thoughts on his sleeve while delivering his questions and self-affirmations with a joy that's made the band a bright light in a saturated sky filled with ambitious indie-pop bands.
